O Fim (The End)

Nesta viajem tive de liderar, obedecer, me impor, brincar, olhar em frente, pensar rápido, sentir, me deixar ir..

Vamos lá a essas cervejas e histórias :)

Perdido no paraíso / Lost in paradise

When I almost drowned, I went to learn how to swim.. over the last ten years.
When I got lost in my city, I traveled around the world to find myself.
There's only one way to live, is to face our fears and follow our heart.

On this journey I had to lead, to obey, to impose myself, to be funny, to look ahead, to think fast, to feel, to let myself go..
What did I win? My English is better, I'm not so afraid of the unknown, I like tropical countries more, I'm a better motorcycle driver (I mean ...), friends here and there, new dreams, I know better what makes my eyes shine and what is vulgar to me.
What did I loose? Nothing special (including Benfica matches), ok, the wallet right at the end. Some pickiness as well.
What changed in me? I guess it wasn't much. I think I clarified myself. I remember that in the beginning, I was washing the shower before taking it and at the end, after it.

Some of what I learned, I like washing the dishes, I don't like to iron, when I'm not too tidy, I feel more alive and like myself, the importance of having someone to share, that beauty comes from nature, in villages everything is more genuine, I'm hungry for knowledge and I want to keep feeding myself, I don't need great comforts, only smiles :), I make friends easily, I didn't miss movies, books or even so much music because I was living, that football is one of my purest passions, that we shouldn't question ourselves so much, the feelings are there for a reason. Just go! And that I like too much of my human qualities to waste them on the occupation I may have. I want to share good things with others. That's what makes me feel happy.

And when you ask me how was it, I'll give you the following answer. Read the blog and it was the best thing I've ever done.

What will I do now? Maybe a blog titled "6 months trying to be happy in Portugal"

Let's have some beers and stories :)
