O filósofo revolucionário ( The revolutionary philosopher)

As preocupações/filosofia que encontrei na aldeia serviram-me para definir alguns dos problemas da sociedade actual que me atormentavam de uma forma pouco clara. Citando Prabhupáda: “Enquanto as pessoas estiverem possuídas por interesses egoístas e desejos de gratificação dos sentidos, haverão sempre guerras. A união real era apenas possível na plataforma da compreensão espiritual e serviço ao Supremo”. Não sou totalmente contra a gratificação dos sentidos, desde que seja merecida. Já há falta de carácter que chegue. Quanto à solução, acredito em algo mais real, por via da natureza, mas a religião facilita. Como o comunismo, que era assente na boa vontade de todos. O egoísmo generalizado é a causa do falhanço de tantas relações. Daí, o culto de servir Krishna, de servir os outros, pois Krishna (ou Deus) está em tudo o que é vivo. As pessoas, actualmente, não se sentem pertencer a um todo. Não é estranho, serem as pessoas que vivem na cidade, as que mais sozinhas se sentem? Algo está errado. Sempre tive a certeza que bancos, seguradoras são ladrões de boa imagem, “aceites” pela sociedade. O “mas precisamos deles” não chega. Tem de haver outra forma. Ou serão estes problemas só para alguns? Para os ditos, mais conscientes? E o que fazer? Tenho de descobrir...

The concerns/philosophy that I found in the village helped me to define some of the problems of contemporary society that tormented me in a unclear way. There is already too much lack of character. As for the solution, I believe in something more real, trough nature, but religion makes it easier. Like communism, that was built upon the good will of all. The widespread selfishness is the cause of the failure of many relationships. Hence, the cult of serving Krishna, to serve the others, as Krishna (or God) is in all that is alive. The people, currently, don't feel belonging to one whole. Isn't it strange, that people who live in the city, are the ones who feel most alone? Something is wrong. I was always ​​sure that banks, insurance companies are thieves with ties, "accepted" by society. The "but we need them" is not enough. There must be another way. Or are these problems just for some? For the called, more aware? And what to do? I have to find out ...
