A semana de trabalho tem começado tranquila. Na companhia do Henrik (assim é que se escreve o seu nome) as conversas fluem e o tempo passa depressa. Têm estado uns vinte e tal graus e o sol tem estado presente. Os suecos já estão a sofrer com a temperatura e o Henrik tem mesmo que pôr creme protector na cabeça.. eheh.. Vikings..
Tenho ajudado a Mar a ver-se livre das abelhas que entram nas casas (ela pela-se de medo). Hoje, falei com um cigano sueco ( também os há :) ) que estava um pouco triste com a forma como os suecos, não ciganos, os descriminam. E disse que os que se portam mal são cerca de 50%. Apesar de o Roger e o Henrik acharem que a percentagem é maior eu diria que, mesmo assim, é suficiente para se ter cautela.. mas não lhe o disse.
Voltei a ter outra boa conversa com o Roger. É admirável como um homem do campo, badalhoco, de 60 anos, tenhas as conversas que tem e a curiosidade em ouvir as ideias dos outros. Só me parece ser possível, dada a abertura que tem para o mundo e outras culturas. Com ele, sinto-me que me posso alargar e alongar nas conversas.
Já me comecei a candidatar a projectos de voluntariado na Tailândia para Agosto e também já estou a preparar o salto no final do mês para outra quinta por aqui perto. Quintas com animais, cafés, restaurantes e até uma comunidade de Hare Krishnas, são as possibilidades.

The work week has started smooth. In the company of Henrik (that's how his name is written) the conversations flow and the time passes quickly. It's been twenty-something degrees and the sun has been present. The Swedes are already suffering with temperature and Henrik has to put sun cream on his head .. eheh .. Vikings ..

I've helped Mar to get rid of bees that come into home (she's really afraid of it). Today, I spoke with a Swedish Gypsy (they exist also :)) that was a little sad about how the Swedes, not Gypsies, discriminate them. He said that those, who misbehave, are about 50%. Although Roger and Henrik think the percentage is higher I would say that, even so, it is enough to be cautious .. but I didn't said it.

I had another good conversation with Roger. It's amazing how a country man, filthy, with 60 years, can have the conversations that he has and the curiosity to listen to the ideas of others. It only seems possible, with the open mind that he has for the world and other cultures. With him, I feel that I can widen and expend my conversations.

I've already started to apply for volunteer projects in Thailand for August and, also,  being preparing the jump, at the end of the month, to another farm nearby. Farms with animals, cafes, restaurants and even a community of Hare Krishnas, are the possibilities.
